Awesome Quintet of DD Bikers Complete the MS Ride!

This past Shabbat, five Dorshei Derekh members were cycling past the shuls of Cherry Hill, NJ way before Shacharit began.
Adina Abramowitz, Kate Cook, Carol Kapstein, Naomi Klayman, and Amy Lowenthal participated in the MS 150 City to Shore ride, raising money for research and services for people suffering from MS.
Many Dorshei members supported our team in their ride, for which we are grateful.  The team trained together and apart throughout the spring and summer to be ready for the physical challenge.
Kate noted the address of their beach rental home: 613 Ocean, and a rainbow on Erev Shabbat.  She was also noted that her bike mentor Amy  waited 45 minutes for Kate at the one mile mark to ride in with her trainee.
Some of us sang upbeat songs from the Shabbat morning prayers to keep us going during the training and the ride itself. It rained all day Friday and we all very happy that it didn’t rain at all on the ride.
The ride was very well supported by the MS staff and volunteers, and there was great joy in completing it! What a sweet way to bring in the New Year!
